Since the beginning of the cadastral renewal in Québec in 1996, Groupe Giroux has completed 30 cadastral renewal mandates and seven others are still underway. These mandates account for more than 50% of all properties on the north shore (Sainte-Foy, Sillery, Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Québec, Beauport, Charlesbourg, Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury, Saint-Gabriel de Valcartier, Beaupré, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Saint-Joachim) and south shore of Québec City (Lévis, Charny, Breakeyville, Saint-Nicolas, Saint-Agapit, Saint-Apollinaire).

Each mandate takes approximately 18 months and requires a team of between 12 and 20 people, depending on the area covered. Groupe Giroux performs the land-related component (the other being the geomatics component) under the supervision of a chief land surveyor (an expert in land surveying).
