Surveys required for construction of the dam located on the Chaudière River between Charny and Saint-Nicolas, now part of the City of Lévis.

During this project, we were responsible for the surveys needed to plan construction of the hydro-electric power station. Among other things, we had to produce the topographical and digital plans showing the cross-section of the river bed before construction of the dam. We then had to prepare the technical descriptions of the riparian plots to be acquired for the project. Lastly, we drew up a photogrammetric plan that was used to study the water flow.

Mandate
Surveys required for construction of the pipeline between Saint-Nicolas and Saint-Flavien, and another pipeline between the Chaudière-Appalaches, the Beauce and the Eastern Townships regions.

Groupe Giroux established the pipeline boundaries and then proceeded with the layout. We then produced the surveys and mapping of the pipeline and all its components as built, including pipes, bends and bolts.

Groupe Giroux periodically produces the piling layouts required for pouring of the concrete for the extension to the compressor installation at Saint-Flavien.
